FAQ

How to find Happay Link?
  1. Visit karamportals.com and select Happay Portal.
How to Login for the first time?
  • You will be getting an email for verifying your email id.
  • You can login through mobile number or email id.

  • Select OTP option and enter OTP.

How to change your password?
  • Click menu option (3 lines icon on the top right corner)

  • Click on My profile.

  • Click Change Password

  • Click on using One Time Password (OTP) Option.

  • You will receive an OTP on your email and mobile number.
  • Enter the OTP and Create your password.
How to check your profile information & correct it if wrong?
  • Click menu option (3 lines icon on the top right corner).

  • Click on My profile.

  • Check your information

  • If any information is wrong, email to deepesh.nigam@karam.in to correct the information. (Check your band, Date of birth, gender, mobile number email id, etc.)
How to solve Error next level approver not mapped?
How to solve error No TMC is mapped for the product or remove the TMC permission?
How to switch between Travel Portal and Expense portal?
  • Click the below icon on the top right corner.

  • Switch to Travel portal if you have to submit travel request.

 

  • Switch back to Expense module if you have to submit Expenses of travel, general purchases, advance & Reports.
How to Submit a trip?
  • Enter name of the trip. (Note: name of the trip is in such a way that it should be understandable when attaching the trip in report.)

  • Select the reason for travel.

  • Select your mode of travel & enter the details & submit)

  • Add other travel related bookings such as bus, Travel advance & Hotels on same Trip id.

  • Submit the trip when everything is added. Request will be sent to Reporting Manager for approval.
How to Submit self-booked trips?
  • Enter name of the trip. (Note: name of the trip is in such a way that it should be understandable when attaching the trip in report)

  • Select the reason for travel.

  • Select Self Request option.

  • Enter the required fields & Submit.

  • Request will be sent to Reporting Manager for approval.
How to check submitted Trips and Approval Status of the trip?
  • Click on Trips > Submitted.

How to Give Approvals of trips?
  • Reporting manager Have to click Approvals tab on header to see all the trips submitted by their users.

How to Create Expenses?
  • In Expense Portal, Click Add Expense Button

  • Provide the Expense information.

  • Click on Save

 

Note: Different types of wallets will not be attached in 1 Report. For Example, if Report is mapped with Impress wallet, Reimbursement expenses will not be attached in that report.

How to decide which wallet to select?
  • Imprest – Travel Related Expenses, Advances, Corporate Card Expenses
  • Reimbursement – Expenses that employee have spent through his/her pocket

 

How to create Report, attach unreported Expenses & attach Trips in Report?
  • Click on New Report Button.

  • Enter all the required information.

  • Select your wallet: – (Imprest – Travel Related Expenses, Advances, Corporate Card Expenses or Reimbursement – Expenses that employee have spent through his/her pocket)

Note: Different types of wallets will not be attached in 1 Report. For Example, if Report is mapped with Impress wallet, Reimbursement expenses will not be attached in that report.

  • If you have added Imprest wallet ( Travel Related Report), Click on attach trips button

  • If you have to add unreported expense Click Attach Existing Expense Button or you can Add New Expense by clicking on Add New Expense Button.

  • Submit The report once all the attachments are done.
  • Approval will be sent to Reporting Manager > Finance Team
How to request for advance(other than Travel)?
  • In Expense Portal, select Request for Advance Button.

  • Enter the required Fields.

Note: Select Imprest wallet for Advance Request.

  • Submit the advance & Create a new Report & attach the advance.
How to approve Reports & Advances?
  • Click on the toggle on the header.

  • Employee toggle will be Employee role where a person can use the Happay portal for his/her personal expenses, reports, advances and trips.
  • Privileged Rights are used for approvals/Rejections of expenses, reports, advances and trips of the Reporting Manager’s team.

 

How to create corporate credit card expenses?
  • Click on Add Expense

  • Select Expense type Corporate Credit Card expenses.

  • Provide all the required information & Submit

Note: Imprest wallet will be selected in Corporate Credit Card Expenses.

  • Submit the Expense.
  • Attach the expense in the report and submit it for approval. Reporting Manager > Finance Team
